My name is Scott Morin and I am the pastor here at Colony Friends
Church. In my ministry thus far God has taken me from Washington
State, to Small town Kansas, and now to Newport News, VA. I have
been privileged enough to be married now for over 20 years to
my beautiful wife Kim. Together we have three beautiful daughters
that are a joy and delight in our lives.
We all want to welcome you to Colony Friends where we do our best to worship God with all that we have. One of our goals is to get rid of that old stuffy church feeling and make church fun and relevant. If you are looking for a pastor who is a wonderful Bible scholar and expect deep theological studies than you may be looking in the wrong place. But if you are looking for a place to call home, a place to worship God with real people who don’t have everything always all together, and a place where you can be yourself than we look forward to your arrival.
